Why do I love my job?!
Every day I get to help people strategize health as a priority for themselves and for their family. My job is to listen and absorb and be a health detective of sorts. What is happening with this person right now? What will be the best solution for improving the situation in the short term and the long term? Sometimes acupuncture is the best choice. To find out more about acupuncture click here. Sometimes lifestyle or dietary changes are what is needed. I love to work WITH people in creating an achievable health plan. I am not a magician but after all of these years I do have a quite a few tricks up my sleeves!
Acupuncture is an amazing tool for so many health and life challenges. From weekend warriors to seasoned athletes, chronic pain to sprains. The variety keeps me on my toes and enjoying work to the max. I do take a special interest in Fertility and have furthered my education in that direction specifically to help families achieve their dreams.
“I found Jodie to be full of experience and knowledge to share, a compassionate listener and willing to discuss my goals and treatment pain from a very holistic approach. Her acupuncture therapy was sensitive to my fear of needles and became a relaxing visit/treatment for me.”

When my clients succeed I succeed. It is the best feeling in the world to know that with my guidance someone is able to achieve health goals. This is one of my biggest motivators for continuing to pursue health education in this way. I have a deep respect for mainstream medicine but when it comes to lifestyle and balance having a coach that can really listen and take the time to work with you, not for you, is the key to long term success.
Now don’t go thinking I am some super woman! I have not always had a healthy relationship with food and my body. For years I did not respect my body for the amazing capabilities it has, instead I despised it for not looking a certain way. It took me many years to fully appreciate and change that mindset towards truly loving my body not for the way it looks but for what it can do for me! Until I understood and appreciated this I couldn’t heal physically or emotionally. Let’s find out what is holding you back.
